| Day 2 | Samburu National Reserve | Spend another day in this Reserve where game viewing and visibility are excellent. Bird life is superb with over 380-recorded species and the game. Scenically, for most of the year, Samburu is under the unsympathetic equatorial sun. Relief comes from the Ewaso Ng'iro River, which rises hundreds of kilometers west on the Aberdare's foothills and vanishes beyond Samburu in the recess of the Lorian swamp. | Day 3 | Aberdare | After breakfast, check out and drive via Nairobi to Mt Kenya Region with a picnic lunch followed by an afternoon game drive at Solio Ranch. This ranch plays a very major part in the protection and breeding of black rhinos, the ranch is fenced, privately owned protected area geared toward rhino conservation, Rhino is a member of the big 5 group which includes lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. | Day 4 | Crescent Island | After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha. Have Lunch at the lodge and later visit Crescent Island. | Day 5 | Maasai Mara Game Reserve | After breakfast depart for a drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the 'spotted plains' in Maa language. Arrive in time for lunch at the Camp. | Day 6 | Maasai Mara Game Reserve | Spend a further day of game-watching with morning and afternoon game drives and other activities in the Mara including ballooning (extra cost). Wildlife is abundant in the Mara Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants. | Day 7 | Nairobi | After breakfast check out and drive to Nairobi on arrival you are transferred to JKIA for an outbound flight. |
